Would you rather have a perfect brain or a body?

I've heard about people getting better treatment everywhere, getting free stuff and everything....but if you can choose between having a really smart brain or a really great outer looks, what would it be? (great looks doesn't necessarily means ur dumb, though). I was just curious, and wanted to have this discussion as a survey. Me, i always wanted to be so smart that i can invent stuffs, and be the first to do and know everything, being able to be in a debate where i'll always win. So brain will be my only choice. What's yours?

i would rather have a perfect brain, because physical appearence is not on my top priority, with brain i could help many people, and also impress many people. But i guess that both are unchangeable since human IQ are ussualy constant on some certain range after reaching adult age, and physical beauty are unchangeable (except through accidents or plastic surgery) since we were born.

Wow such a fascinating argument. My question was, what if you've been given the right to choose between having the brain or the body before u were even born. What would it be? A bit of both will benice though, but without the brain, the body will be useless, i think. Thanks for responding. GBU

Call me crazy but I want a perfect body because I already have a 1/8 perfect brain and I am contented with that. I don't want to be so intelligent because if I do, I will not stop thinking. But with a nice body, I think it's better.

I think I would choose to have a real smart brain. Because having a smart brain means that I can achieve more in life. Having a smart brains means getting a much better employment, education and leads to better success. When it comes to body, as long as you would have the effort to have it shaped and exercise to keep fit...then it wont be that bad at all anymore.

i would also choose the perfect brain because with it, i can do a lot of things and be more confident and therefore, i would feel more attractive than a person with a perfect body.

what's the point of having the perfect body and being beautiful but with no brains? but then ur question is more of the extreme... well, which means that u can be smart but not super smart but u can have a perfect body... well, that sounds enticing. I do know for a fact that beautiful people get a lot of perks and are generally treated better than not so good-looking people... i mean it is a fact whether we want to admit it or not. well, i would choose a perfect body provided it's trade off is not no brains...

I think I would go with the perfect body, because you can always teach yourself what you need to know. I don't think I would have any need to have all this knowledge.

I'd much rather have a good brain than a good body any day ... I really don't care what other people look like .. I always go for intelligence first, then personality and body shape is way down the line .. With good brains you can more or less do whatever you want .. if you only have a good body then one day will come when the body is good no longer and what would you have left then .. nothing .. good brains will outlast a good body

I would choose the perfect brain. I believe I could do a lot more good and be a lot happier with the brains than with the beauty. Physical appearance has never been a big priority for me, however I've always strived to learn more so that I could do more. I think having beauty without the brains greatly limits what a person can do with their life and how happy they will be.

Call me a bimbo whatever, but I'd definitely choose good looks! No matter how people always deny, LOOKS DOES MATTER - VERY MUCH! No doubt this does not mean people lacking in the looks department will not succeed, but they will need to put in alot more time & effort as compared to those with good looks. It's a fact the the society is biased & the good lookers will always leave a better impression & get favourable treatment over the oridinary looking folks. :(

Yup, in short term that's true. But in the long run, i highly doubted that looks will generates special treatment forever. Looks fade away, when you get older you're definitely gonna need the brain. But thanks for the respond anyway.

I believe that with perfect body or with perfect beauty we can't rule the world...we need a perfect brain and be smart to pove our stand to the world..the history has witnessed it..the perfect example being that of Hitler..he is not so attractive or strong physically..not hundred times stronger in terms of smartness and leadership..i.e the perfect use of a perfect brain..It has enabled him to rule almost the whole world.. So i would vote for a perfect brain and intelligence above beauty in terms of ohysical or outer look.

Yeah, it's always beyond physical. And when the aging strikes, the looks will fade away, but the brai...as long as you're still using it, stays with u forever.

I am a housewife and at no cost my husband would allow me to work so I have no use for the brains and would definetely need a perfect body so that my husband only looks at me and no one else. ;-) (as it is he does not)

yeah, but if you had the brain you may realize that your husband isn't that good of a catch if he's already looking at other women and find someone better that aprreciates you for your mind and soul and isn't so hung up on good looks.

Nobody's perfect, but there are some who got the looks and the brain. For me, it's better to have the brains than to have a perfect body. Looks can really be deceiving, because I know of some people who have the body that makes the boys stare but once you talk to them, LOL, you'll tell yourself where did this girl come from, same goes with the male population. It's a big turn off when you'll learn that the person you admire doesn't manifest the intelligence that you are looking for. On the other hand, it's a big turn on when you'll see a person who doesn't have a perfect figure but is brainy. Anyways, I know that we are created not perfect because there is somebody out there for each of us who will compensate for whatever that is lacking in us.

Looks are short term, but in the long you'll be needing the brain, correct? Thanks for sharing
