Telephone Tax Refund

The time for taxes is just around the corner. This year there is a telephone tax refund to refund the federal excise tax that was charged on your phone. Just about everyone who has had phone service since February 2003 is eligible. For more information you can go to the irs.gov website. It is listed under Telephone Excise Tax Refund. You do not have to itemize to get this refund.

Thank you for the information. I didn't know about this. I'm not certain yet if I'll be doing my own taxes this year but I'll check this out anyway just in case.
