My favourite author is Ayn Rand and the book is Atlas Shrugged. It is a bit old so on first reading it seems a bit out of date but the philosophy underlying it is still relivient in today's world.

Most of my favourite are classic ones which include Tow Sawyer, Jane Eyre, Tale of Two Cities, Oliver Twist. The authers I admire are Mark Twains, Charles Dickens and Charlotte Bronte. My recent collection contains the Harry Potter series. The works of J.K.Rowling are quite enjoyable too.

My favorite book was Lethal Marriage. I forget who the author is, but it's about Paul Bernardo and Karla Homoulka's crimes. It's very disturbing but it makes you think about life a little bit, and how valueable it is.

My favorite is Les Miserable by Victor Hugo. It is spo wonderful. The description, the narrative very touching. So impossible yet so realistic. You should read it, i recommend it heartily.

Wuthering Heights by Emily Bronte - it has been my favourite novel since I was old enough to read it, I just find it a brilliantly written classic!

I really don't have a favorite book because I have never really read one that I didn't like If I had to choose a favorite author I would have to say Daneille Steele would have to be one of my all time winners. one of my favorites of hers is titled Message from Nam. I wonder if any one else out there has ever read a book called Do no Grieve for Wrightsie. It's about a little boy with a brain tumor If any one else has read this book and knows where I might find a copy I would really appreciate a private message or even a post Let me know please.

If I will pick just one, I'll be confused hehe. I like The Alchemist by Paulo Coelho, so engaging. But Isabel Allende's House of Spirits is also on top of my list :)

One of my most favorite books is Paulo Coelho's The Alchemist. It speaks so much about life in the simplest and most straightforward ways possible without using too much honeyed - but instead frank - words. I like Coelho because he writes his books as if he's writing some mail to a friend. Never too overly emotional. Just right, but introspective.

My favorite is undoubtedly the daVinci code..inspite of it being the most controversial book of the century, the way the book has been narrated is superb and the way the writer has presented the things is marvelous..i didnt feel any boring at all reading the novel, rather by each and each page read,i got more interested and anxious to know the climax..welldone DAN BROWN
