Does anyone have the habit of reading newspaper on a daily basis. Most of the people do have the habit of reading newspapers, but mostly the Headlines and the Sports News. Why not we spend time in finding out some new words used by the Editors in their articles and researching on the meaning and definition of it. it would definitely explore our knowledge and infact bring up our standards. Also the General knowledge and IQ boosts up. It can also be added that reading newspapers would rise the reading speed.

Before the advent of internet, I used to read the newspapers for about 2 hours a day, but now most of the newsitems we watch in internet and in TV and hence only for one or interesting newsitems we read in details in the newspapers. I get 1 english paper and one kannada language paper. However, I do read the weekly magazines.

We have the daily paper delivered every day, and I always read it whilst I have my breakfast, I usually skip the bad depressing news and go straight for the television page to see what's on that night and then I will go to the crossword page, I like to complete the crossword and suduko puzzles each day, it improves my brainpower and makes me think, over a hot cup of coffee it makes a good start to the day.
