I have a fast easy healthy nut receipe to share with you. Take 3 tbs. of butter and melt in a medium size pan. Add 1 cup of walnuts. On a low/medium heat stir occassionally for about 10 minutes. Then add pure maple syrup, about 3 to 4 tbs. and stir well. Medium heat. Keep on range another 10 minutes, stir once or twice as it bubbles. Remove and pour into a bowl to cool. Then yummmmmmmy, enjoy.

I love walnuts and your recipe sounds really good. I shall enjoy it with my daughter, as my husband doesn´t like anything sweet. I´m the contrary. Will probably try that out this evening, it must be delicious. Thanks for sharing this here. Have a nice day.

It is so easy, and you will love it. Try to use real maple syrup though.

Is it hard like peanut butter brittle. But alas, even though it sounds so yummmy to my tummy, I can not eat it. I have a nut allergy. But I could make it for my hubby. I will buy the walnuts and pure maple syrup tomorrow when I go grocery shopping and make it for him. I just drool while he is eating it.

I am going to try this to make for my Father. He loves peanut brittle, and this sounds like something he'll love. He is 81 years old and still has the appetite of a 40 year old! He just loves to snack! I take him little treats all the time, and you would think that I had brought him a million dollars! Thanks for posting this. I'll triple the recipe, of course. he would have 1 cup done in a flash.
