I guess my top answer here would be sleeping. But then let's strike that 'coz we have to be awake to actually experience the enjoyment from a hobby. So I'd say that my favorite hobby is reading books. It feels so good to mind nothing but the book you're reading, especially when you're reading an excellent author, and you've got a nice background music! What are your hobbies?

The computer takes up most of my time. I do work on the computer to make money. My hobby involves the computer also. I like to play a computer game called The Sims 2. I am very addicted and it is a lot of fun.

My biggest time waster... aka hobby is probably blogging. I have several blogs that keep me busy and entertained. I also frequent message boards to keep myself feeling connected to the world, since so much of my time is spent home with my kiddos! Another hobby I enjoy from time to time is cake decorating... shaped cakes are my preference. If you'd like to visit my cakes I have a link from: http://www.squidoo.com/macaronipie/ Tell me what you think!

My top Hobby is to just think about How Universe was created? What would be the fate of it?Can we ever travel in time? What will happen if we fall in the Black Hole?Does White Hole exist? And all these questions. Thinking these really make me feel comfortable & make me really mentally happy

You know na it differs from person to person.I myself feel it like a burden holding the book in hand & reading it.The letters in the book, the same bookish language & all that. By the way Thanks for the Comment.

Whoa, that hobby will be mentally stressful for me. I guess it's easier for me to analyze texts as I read them in a book, instead of formulating questions out of the blue :)

wowww we got the same hobbies, I like to read novels too.. after work after dinner.. I relax and read my novels, it is such a relaxing way so that your mind can rest and I feel as if I could really get into the novels.. especially if the author is a good one. But, because I cant buy novels every day, so i usually play music (keyboard) when I have no more novels to read, i like it its very relaxing and enjoyable to just play anything I want to ... I can say that playing music always makes me feel happy ... However, it is not my only hobbies, I also like to do crafts, such as scrapbooking, cross stitch, knitting, making origami and things like that I really enjoy doing them, it challenge my creative side (which is not much) annywaysss and on the physical side, I love sports especially basketball and badminton.. i play them regularly too

I could take photos all day. I find it very enjoyable to go to a sporting event and spend all day taking pictures. Then going home and sorting them looking for the few that will go in the paper. This and traveling are the hobbies I enjoy and find very relaxing.

You have a fantastic job, I'm seriously jealous! If my job is to take photos all day and get to travel for free by doing that, then I'll just feel so very lucky! Except I'm not so skilled at finding the best angles and stuff. I'm just into taking photos instinctively :)

Oh I would have to agree with you, there is nothing like sitting down or even lying down with a good book to relax me, with a hot cup of tea or cocoa and some great music in the background.

I really like to crochet, I think it is relaxing, and you can do several things while doing this, watch tv, listen to a book on tape or cd, talk to your family & friends, listen to music. I also like to learn new dances, and dance as exercise as my hobby....now I dont do this all the time...but I like it.

this is the second entry about crochet and i'm mighty curious if i could learn it. i haven't tried learning it tho. i've just simply surrendered to the fact that i might not have the right dexterity for it :)

Playing on my computer. It has been for years, I get to chat with my sister that lives in Colorado, I get to play poker or other games I enjoy, it's quiet, it's mindless some nites, and it time I just chill. I also love music and some nights I will sit here at my computer and listen to music I have downloaded. But my computer is my escape.

My hobby that really relaxes me is reading also. I love to read. The only other thing I do that relaxes me (don't laugh) is playing Ms. Pac-man. I started playing that game when I was a little kid and still to this day if I am stressed I go play and take out all my frustration on the game. It works everytime. But anytime I just want to relax and get away from it all a book. Fiction anything from romance to mystery to Harry Potter.

hey its really nice to come across a simple, sensible discussion in between so many nonsensical ones. my hobby isnt fixed.sometimes, just chatting to someone over the net pleases and relaxes me no end,at other times it just that i like to read a mystery book with some slow music and stuff..

identifying what is nonsensical can be a very subjective process. but it is really pleasing to meet people who shares your interests, no? a mystery book and slow music go well together!

shame on me, i can't swim to save my life. i try to learn, but water scares me so much. i had tried swimming last year when i went to this awesome city south of the philippines - davao. i think i did swim for a minute, but i was still scared that i blew it up. so i just went to go kayaking :)

At home, it's hard for me to totally relax when my chores aren't done. However, I love to sit in my living room and have my ribbon supplies, watch CSI Miami or Crossing Jordan and make hair bows. If my chores aren't done and I need a break, I love to go to a great movie. Currently, I'm on a scary, or psychological thriller kick.

I have some hobbies such as cooking, playing online games, reading, sleeping. On weekends, one that really relaxes me is reading. After about an hour of reading i get drowsy and sleep for a few hours. When I wake up I play online games and cook me an instant macaroni and cheese snack. Mmmmm... now that's relaxing. ^-^

I love to read. There's nothing better than being engrossed in a great book. I also love to cook, especially cold wintery days and for dinner parties - I just hate having to clean up afterwards. And spending time hanging out with my friends is also a great way to relax, vent and unwind.

I like particular Yoga techniques, like the one we call Brahmri for relaxation. It has a tremendous potential of removing any stress related problems. Another thing I try out is going for a walk at least once a day. I have been trying both the above techinques as my hobby for about five years.
