Can you read while the TV is on?

I can. The TV is on alot at my house so I've learned to block it out. but, I like reading while music is on, do you?

Nope I can't read if the tv or radio is on. I like it quiet when I'm reading. It help me to get into the story more.

Well..not to sound like I'm bragging but I can pay attention to both. Read and listen to the tv/to music. More often than not I'll revert all of my attention to the book, ignoring everything else though, heh.

well i can read too but there is a difference in reading and memorizing something so i can read but i cant memorize a lot of things since to memorize i neeed to concentrate

Yepp. It's a simple thing to do. Most especially if the commercial is still on.

Not at all. Its quite difficult for me to read while the tv is on. I cant even read while the music is on. I like reading in a calm environment like the library, park(in the morning whn there r not too many people arnd) and even in my bedroom.

there is no way that i can do it because i just get distracted easily and then i forget what i have just read. maybe i have ADD or something.
