Hi, what do you think was the turning point of yesterday's match between us and windies. I personally think it is the genius of Tendulkar capturing the prize wicket of Brian Lara which was the defining moment of the match. Share your thoughts. Thanks.

I agree with you that Brian Lara was looking in great touch as he was hitting boundaries and sixes at will and if It's wasn't for our little champion Sachin Tendulkar who got him out at crucial period of play we could have got in trouble. But i also feel the whole team played well. As ganguly , gambhir gave india great start, then middle order capitalised on it and Dravid, and esp. Dhoni hit lusty blowsa t end to give inida imposing total to defend. then our bowlinf esp. harbahjan, and Zaheer played well supported well by tendulkar and agarkar. Let's hope they get confidence and captialise on the start and win the series.

Hi banta78, you've hit bull's eye with your response. Gudos to all 11 gentlemen. We'll hope somebody continue to pull something extraordinary out of their bags to keep india winning in the following matches as well. Thank you.

I didn't see the match as I dont get Neo sports, but from the news papers I learned that Tendulkar took the wicket of Lara just when he was starting to look dangerous. If it hadn't for a clever piece of bowling at the right time,I believe that Lara would have easily driven his team to an easy victory....

It is my bad luck that i couldn't see the match. there were a lot of factors behind India winning the match and the prized wicket of Lara by the genius master blaster was the turning point of match and there is a no doubt about it. I m really disappointed for not watching the match but i couldn't help because it's not telecasting in my area.

Hi, thanks for your comment. It'll be nice if programmes with nationwide following be awarded to doordarshan in future. You know, it's being followed in more affordable countries like UK.

i think that the partnership between dhoni and dravid paved the way for the indian victory .. had they not batted aggressively west indies would have easily chased the target

First of all the opening wiket partnership was the foundation. But the most crucial part was DRAVIDs n DHONIs innings that made us compile that huge total. Wee to say it was a combined team effort

Hi, I completely agree with you. After all, cricket is a team sports and we played like a cohesive team after a long time. Thanks.
