Rating going down?

I've noticed my rating has declined slightly. Is this because people have rated me negatively, or is it because I haven't been rated positively or not at all? Do you have to be rated positively to maintain your rating, or does it only decline if its rated negatively? Cheers, Pete

When I try to paste stuff, it says I need a rating of 500! Surely that cant be right, it sounds unachievable!

People rate me negative when they don't agree with my posts. My lot is for Opinions...but I guess some people don't agree with that either! my rating doesn't matter to me...I'm on here to spend my free time when I have nothing better to do...it's entertaining to me!

this is what i understood from mylot guidelines. users with a user rating of less than 100 will not yet have myLot reputation myLot reputation is determined by the myLot community,not user It doesn’t mean that 8 stars means “good user” and 5 stars means “bad user” only indicate how active user are increase your reputation is by contributing quality topics, responses and comments and avoid breaking mylot rules!
