I'm running out of ideas on what to write on myLot!!!

How do you guys do it??? everyday you posts discussion, one after another... you try to make it unique, interesting and will cater to anyone who reads it!!! But you have to do it EVERYDAY! Don't you feel that your mind would just blow into tiny pieces???
I am feeling a little tired because my brain has like a lot of ideas but when I go to my computer and start writing... I just feel like it is not worth to write... any advice please....

I add my favorite interest as much as I can. I dont force myself to make new topic. I only post if I like the subject and will not post if I dont like the subject ^^

Don't really force yourself to get ideas. I deas come and go, whenever you something good on mind, just write it down write away, then when you come in here, you'll be ready to write.
P.S.: Do not write just to write, it won't get you anywhere. Just write when you have goods ideas that will come to mind.

I know that ideas come and go... like the other day. after i turned off my computer to go to sleep. i had like a great idea for a discussion. i was already in bed at that time and i felt like i don't wanna open my computer again, just to put it on mylot... so i told myself that i will put it the next day.... but after i woke up, i forgot what i was thinking...

I agree with justreal :) Try keeping a small notepad and pen by your bed, in your purse, in the kitchen, etc.... and when something comes to you, scribble down a quick note. You'll sit down at your computer with a nice list of things you want to post :) I have lots of days where I can't seem to get an original thought to flow from my brain to the keyboard. On those days, I focus hard on discussions my friends have started or discussions that aren't getting any responses... responding to everyone else gets my own thoughts flowing :) Other people have such great ideas!

I dont really post new discussions everyday, only whenever I come across something that I feel I should post. Like today I have only posted 1 discussion, and the only reason I posted it is because I needed advice and am going through a tough time in my life.

try not to force yourself when you are writing... it is better for you to have some time off... if you feel you are getting tired.

Mind boggling sometimes.
It takes me ages!!

I just come here for the fun of it, and if something takes my fancy then it is a bonus !!!

I really don't start discussion's. I mostly post replies to other people's discussion's. It take's me time before I start a discussion and when I do, it is based on what is going on in the world or my life. I think we all get writer's block from time to time.

We all tend to go through that. You cant have a good day every day on here. When You feel like that I always take a break and come back later. I does seem to help. You dont have to start discussions you can sometimes just answer to a discussion.

I think you just have to base discussions that you will start on current events or the latest trend perhaps. maybe it will put interest into mylot members. i personally havent started ay discussion yet since i cant think of one which will put a lot of members' responses and maybe even included in todays hot topics. lol

i think everyone has this problem ... just try to relax. if you feel like you have a question or a concern about it... you can write it down. and type it later. good luck

Its a slow and gradual process. Keep reading discussions and replies of others that will make you think. In the process of thinking you are bound to get your UNIQUE ideas.

It's normal that many good ideas come when you're going to sleep becuse it is the moment when you are more relaxed. I think that you can have a notebook near your bad and when you ahve a good idea you can write it on the notebook so the day after you remember it

If you ran out of ideas making a discussion, I suggest that you try to browse the pages of MyLot for other member's discussions. Then try to respond or comment to their discussions. And eventually, you will have pretty good ideas to start your discussion with.

me too i sometimes feel that im running out of idea but whenever i feel that i didnt force myself. It will just cause me an headache. Sometimes also before i sleep the ideas come and go and wont let me sleep. it made me think a lot thats why lately i minimized it.

Sigh I know what your talking about ... I feel the exact same thing day by day and though I believe that I have open discussions which certainly are interesting, I don't know why people don't bother answering them ... Well I'm thinking about leaving the part of opening discussions... Maybe I'm better off answering ...

Here after reading any discussion any post, you really need not to be in panic of getting thoughts n ideas in your mind. Basially when u read something, idea is something like what strikes in your mind immediately, what all those things come in your mind at that moment, just that you write, just dont keep on thinking about something for a long while, else what will happen, you wont get anyting good at end to write...and again you 'll feel that your not getting good enough ideas!!!
