How old were you when you first learned to drive?

Was there anything difficult about learning to drive?

I was 15. But I wasn't allowed to drive alone until one later. The clutch of a manual transmission car is troublesome for me. I would very much prefer cars with automatic transmissions.

I meant I wasn't allowed to drive alone until one year later. I guess that's what happens if I don't preview my messages... I always end up with wrong grammar. ^^

I was 17 I think when I started. But I didn't succeed in getting my license until I was 20. The hardest part for me was depth perception and overcoming my fear of missing something because I only have one good eye.

I first had lessons when i was like 17 but my dad became busy then. My series of lessons came when i was like 20, and i was able to make the car run when i first sat on the driver's seat. the problem though is how you slow down while keeping the engine running, cause you can't just go blasting off the street on heavy traffic. Now i've got my license and enjoying the ride everyday.
