Yep !! very true , as lomng as we keep on practicing thing its becomes more and more better!!!....Like posting replies in day that too so many that automatically speed up typing !!...i am really find some good cganges in my typing and speed. For this reason i must say thanks to mylot. Because i never typed so much in so less time. So mylot is good way to do this.

yes my typing has improved indeed, as you said practise makes perfect and as you can tell from my rating i've got massive amounts of practise =D bad thing is that this is in english and i'm belgian so my mother tongue is dutch... but i'll take it because i know where the key's are now so i can still type fast in dutch, but sometimes i tpe the ' when i don't have to =D but then again my typing was good before because i took this typing course in school bout 5 or 6 years ago and i got 86/100 then so...

I didn't think that I typed bad before MyLot, but I think that I do type better! I think that if one does this everyday and tries not to look at the keyboard, or peek at the keys....then they will gradually improve. Practice does make perfect. But, when you practice wrong, nothing will change!! :)

I doubt it. I've once again plateu'd it seems! I have been typing for years and years and I switched to the Dvorak keyboard to get even faster. Now I can type as fast as most people can talk. But that's about it. That's probably about 150 words per minute. I read too slowly to test that way accurately. But when I try, it's 135 words per minute if the reading isn't complicated (it can include symbols, but I mean if the words are something I will stumble over because my brain will mix up the order). Thank goodness I can type, because I sure can't write! I type all of my notes that are possible to be typed. If you tested my writing speed, it's probably 5 to 10 words per minute. My grandma types at 7 words per minute and I write slower than she types at times.

I think I typed rather well before myLot. But I do find that I am now typing better. I can even watch the screen and type without looking at the keyboard. However, I am finding that since I am always on the laptop, when I go back to the desktop, I have a hard time adjusting to the slightly different size of the keyboard. One would think that it would be easier. But, I guess I now have spent too much time on the laptop. LOL There is no going back now! ha ha

I have gotten better, but still need more practice. I get so frustrated when my keyboard does something stupid and makes it insert what I am typing elsewhere. I think I inadvertently brush the touchpad with my palm and it goes nuts. If I could figure out how to turn it off, I would be in typo-free heaven!

For the most part my speed has picked up. I don't think my spelling has gotten any better though. I like the site and continue to type and it is my hope that my grammer will improve as well. I do not use slang or computer short hand. When I say you I type you and not U. I think this site makes you think and lets you vent at the same time. We all have our own points of view and that is good. One opinion is not better than another it is just different. I think I am now typing 80 words a minute but not sure. Keep typing.

Perhaps yes. I am not used to typing and having to capatlize so I'm learning how to do that more efficently. Also, I like mylot because when I IM my friends I don't use such big words, and correct punctuation/spelling. And I like to; I feel more educated. Plus unless I am texting I don't really like to use internet slang, because then when I am typing up anything for school it takes me longer. Microsoft Word doesn't know that w/ means with and b/c means because so on. So yes I feel I am truely improving my typing skills using mylot. Even though I typed really fast and effectently already before. Also I get a little paranoid when posting responces because I am not the best speller, and it embarrasses me a little.
