Stale discussions?

I have a query, maybe one of you can give some advice and input. What happens to stale discussions? And with stale I mean a discussion that is a few weeks old? I think it is rather senseless to have that discussion floating in limbo. I have noticed several discussions like this. They usually come up during a specialized search. Do you think such a discussion should be removed from the forum, and what do you think the criteria for removal should be?

I don't believe there is a criteria for removing stale duscussions. my oldest is 4 months and not being added to. I wishe that myLot would remove the ones that are old. if you were to inter one of those discussions the person that started is not going to come back to add a comment. So why keep it around?
