Old persons in retirement houses! Dun u object?

My mom (who is not at all old) has made it clear to me that she WANTS to live in a senior's home when she is old. She says she would rather be surrounded by people her age, and do activities with them, then be at home alone waiting for people to come home from work/school. My grandmother is in a senior's home and she loves it - they do lots of fun things, and she has lots of friends and never has to feel lonle.y She has a much fuller life than she woudl living with us.

I dont agree with sendingloves ones to homes but in this day and age, we really do not have much choice in the matter. Most of us have to work doing something and earn a living and it doesnt give us much time to take care of a person who needs our help. It is truly not that we wouldnt or do not want to for sure. They wouldnt want us to stop living because they have grown older. However if I had a choice and could care for an elderly person, i sure would. I love older people.
