What sort of organic or homemade pesticides do you use on your plants? I use a diluted solution of Neem oil which has proved very effective. What about you?

I've used ground red peppers, made into a spray with dish soap and it really worked for aphids and some other small bugs. Also, diamataceous earth (I probably spelled it wrong) is harmless to anything but soft bodied bugs - but I'm not sure it's safe for worms, which you might want to protect.

I grow some flowers like roses and lilies, but most of my effort goes to vegetables. Last year I grew tomatoes, corn, bean, squash, sunflowers and pumpkins. I consider sunflowers vegetables, because I eat the seeds! (I know sunflower seeds are not vegetables.) :)

I think organic pesticide is not worth it because i think its not functioning.
