Hi boomercat. This is an old query, and if you have found the answer already, that's really great! If not, your summer must have been a real drag, lol, I mean, all summer and no riding, that would be hard!!!!! My ex husband used to be a Harley repair guy for almost 20 years, so I did some hunting around for you. I could find no free online Harley manuals when I did a search. What I did find that might help you was some Harley forums where they discuss their bike problems, and others help them find the answer. www.cyclespot.com/forums/showthread.php?t=3332 cyclespot has a good technical forum for Harleys and v-twins. www.bikerforums.org/forums/vbgarage.php?do=list This forum is 'the garage' and is strictly a biker forum. They have fatboy's listed in their archive, so there's somebody that can discuss your problems with you. I hope that by now your bike's up and running and all those nagging problems have been solved.
