Why do you love or hate him? For clarification if you don't know which character it is, it's the main one played by Vincent D'Onofrio.

I love his character. His character is the type of man that I would like to spend time with, but not necessarily on a daily basis. The almost unbelievable intellect and the ability to switch between personas is something that makes his character special. But I think I like him so much because he reminds me of my genius grandfather. Freud would have a feild day with me.

^_^ I love his character too..he's just an amazing character I think. He doesn't remind me of anyone in particular though, I think the reason why I'm so fond of 'em is 'cause I like brilliant characters -- and the actors which play the parts seemlessly so you have a difficulty believing that's not what they're really like lol. Thanks for responding.

Don't love him and don't hate him. He is a neat guy to watch. He has a whole story line behind him that we only get glimpses of. He seems to have had some health problems, however, I do not know what they are. The show is very interesting and no one person is the showcase victim. The story plays out and keeps you thinking.

Goran is actually my absolute fav character..I think one of the things I love about him is how he analysis everything (a man after my own heart LOL) and is very much a ppl reader ya know....I also like how he and Eams connect..Its like they are partners but also he is the intensely inquisitive child (in a way) and she is the mindful parent if that makes sense...

It's the slightly wilder, curious side of him I think ^_^ Eams is always the responsible, practical one. So in a way they mesh and check eachother. They've worked a few years together in the series, right? So I think they learned eachother very well, so they connect very well :) From the littleI've seen in the previews of this new series, though. It seems like the contrasts are gonna be a bit sharper between them. We get to see more of that wilder, intensely curious side of Goran because now everyone seems to think he's crazy (maybe because now more people know about his mother, and that schitzophrenia runs in his family). And we see the softer side of Eams.

I think he is a really great actor. I love how he portrays his role. It's like you can see the wheels turning in his head when he's on a case. But you can feel something in his up-brining has made him aware of even the littlest detail. He doesn't miss a thing. By the way next Thursday night is supposed to be a great show! Goran will be in a mental facility. He's going undercover. Ohhh I can't wait. Guess it will be longer than an hour. Here in NY it will come on at 10 pm.

*nods* I think he's a great actor too. I was tickled that he came back to play Detective Goran after the last C.I. actors came in to replace my favorites heh. He said he decided to come back 'cause the fans had aked so nicely, I think. Yes, I can't wait either ^_^ it'll be interesting. Especially when you remember his childhood and his Mom, a mental health fascility could really get to him. And it'll be neat to see if he loses his compsure, if only for a little bit and not on purpose for once (it's happened briefly before, and though I wouldn't like to see Bobby tortured or anything, I always like gaining insight into his character).

I think that his character is awesome. Just watching him work and how he gets people is pretty cool. I also love the episodes his nemesis Nicole Wallace. I think her story line and how they relate is amazing. Its like they are each other's match.

Oh! I loved her too. The episodes with both of them in them were the best, I think. It's a touch I really liked, the writers adding her for him to meet an' all. It's like an example of the irony life to present in reality. They were two ends of the spectrum..reflections but different enough to be exactly the same. Which made the chemistry AWESOME.

Vincent D'Onofrio is one of my most favorite actors. His role as Goren allows him to share his intensity with the viewers as do most of the roles he chooses to play. From Full Metal Jacket to The cell to Law & Order Criminal Intent, he doesn't just take whatever roles come along. He only takes roles that challenge him and scare him to some degree. He's an amazing actor and it shows through this role.
