Polio

I have a close friend who got Polio when he was a baby. He grew up in a very poor family so his parents couldn't afford anything to help him with his post polio. He has 2 crutches so his 2 legs are both tiny but different in size. I was just wondering if there was any chance that someone like him could walk without crutches. Are there braces or prosthetics that can help him walk without crutches. He says he doesn't have much muscles in his bottom, thighs and legs. Thanks for your replies.

Hi. There sure are things out there to help him. They make prosthetics for just about anyone these days. They can also make a brace to fit his needs. there is alot of advanced technology these days. Good luck with it.
