do children lie?

when children see their parents, adults lying because it's convenient for them at that time. Then children learn from that and follow it by lying and if they can get away with it , think it's beneficial to lie. Then no matter of teaching not to lie will help.

Children learn from what they see and hear, so if they hear their parents lying then naturally the child/ren will do the same. It is quite wrong for parents to tell lies at any time, and certainly in front of children who follow the example set for them by parents and others.
