In our house, I would have to say both. My father does the grilling outside including corn on the cob and my mother do the cooking inside. both of my parents work together on most meals.

I think male is better than female. Every famous hotel has a male cook. So i think male is better.

I think that both Males and Females can be good cooks so I can't really pick and say which is better. In households, I mostly see women cooking with the men helping once in a while or not at all but in restaurants, most of the cooks that I've seen are male... My Mom is a pretty good cook. She can make a meal out of only a few ingrediants and it'll still taste good. I'm a so/so cook. What I cook tastes good but I haven't tried a lot of recipes yet.

Yes I like your comment It shows maturity. While men and women can think differently. I always thought cooking was easy if you can follow instructions. My Mom was a terrible cook (shes better now) So we all learned to cook our selfs at around 10 years old. I am 50 not and can cook almost anything Although I know that our bodies get more nutrition from raw food ;-) I am not a fanatic about it.

I think Man and Women can cook. My son cooks very well. I taught him. he like to make fancy dishes. I do too, sometimes. My husband can not cook at all. He is so impatient he can't even wait untill food is done.

Cooking, designing are things that are unisex. there's no difference in gender specification in such things. It's just so that certain people are better in certain things. eg, I can't cook for nuts but I can iron clothes much better than my girlfriend and she can cook a mean potato salad.

I think there shouldn't be a gender descrimination as far as the cooking is concern. I believe cooking is an skillful art and it has nothing to do with the gender. Like any other art one can get proficiency by practicing it over and again.Normally mothers takes the credit of being a better cooks as many of the mothers they cook at home. But I know many a men who are really a good cooks for themselves! In all the big restaurants and 5 star Hotels we often have Chefs and cooks who are males. This tradition has been coming in the Muslim community from th time of Mughals where they used to have male cooks who they used to call as 'Khansaas'. Thus cooking can be done both by males and females eqaully, provided that they take keen interest in it and ready to do experimentations to get really mouty watering dishes. Today with the availability of modern kitchen gadgets even kids also can become good Cooks! Thanks!

Gender doesn't matter when it comes to cooking. Both men and women can be good cooks.

In my home, my husband is the better cook. I am also a good cook, but my hubby has a cooking school degree, and he's worked as sous-chef for a few years. On my defense, i have to say i'm the cleaner cook! LOL My hubby leaves a mess after he's done cooking, but apparently they say that real chefs are messy.

In my home, I would have to say that both of us are great cook, which is great as it gives each of us a break away from cooking and we can surprise each other at special times like anniversaries or birthday time by cooking something special for our loved one.

I think that to be a good cook, all you need is a brain and a pair of hands. It does not make a difference if you are male or female. As long as you think and try to combine ingredients, it should not be a problem. Both males and females can be good cooks.

I think both can make a good cook, just depends on a lot of things, like training or experience, and well.. i've eaten a lot of good meals made by men and women. Me and my husband usual decide what we are going to eat together, sometimes he'll make one part of the meal and i'll make the other, or one will prep and the other cook. i make rice and noodles better then him. i dont know what he does to either of them to mess them up so badly, but ew. lol. watery rice and creamy nooodles lol. other then that he's never made a bad meal. sometimes ODD. but usually not bad :) and i guess he would prob say the same for me. he's never complained anyways :0
