TEAMWORK: A double-edged sword.

Sometimes I really wonder what Teamwork's benefits are. I've been involved in various group projects before. Some are successful, some are not. There are some people who find teamwork as an opporunity to share their knowledge and cooperate. Yet some see this as an opportunity to be parasitic. The question: Does Teamwork really bring more good than bad? Or is it the other way around?

Yes, teamwork is good for big project, because the project involve a lot of people and must be finished in time, it need all people involved make teamwork. But another side, it is not good for individual to develope, in a team, you just do something belong to a project, you don't know all the things about it, the other will do else, so you can learn a few. If someone can work independently, his ability will grow fast.

You have a point. Tasks are divided when working in a group. What a person learns won;t be learned by another. That really makes a whole lot of sense. =) Nice response. I like it.

I think teamwork is good if you have people on your team who values the same goals that you do. I think it can be bad if there is someone in there who doesn't care about the goals of the other people and it brings the whole group down together.

yeah. There are people who see this as an opportunity to slack off and get rewarded for it. Parasitic pests. =/
