Thought I'd share one of our favorite dips at our house. My niece loves this so much, she makes me bring it to every holiday gathering! It's so easy to make with only 4 ingredients! 1 Cup bacon (I use the real, chopped bacon sold in the salad dressing aisle in packages) 1 Cup Sour Cream 1 Cup mayo 1 Cup chopped tomato (usually 1 large or 2 small) Mix all together and serve with crackers!! Yummy!!

This recipe sounds very good. Is it good for dipping every thing? I'm trying to get away from chips because I don't know when to stop. So would this dip be good for veggies?

We've had veggies dipped into this, and it is very good too!! I've also tried it using the low fat version of mayo and sour cream, and I thought it was just as good without altering the taste. Hope you try it!! Let me know if you do!! Enjoy!! Thanks for your reply!! :-)

This sounds excellent, I love blt's. I bet it would be good with bread diped in it too. Thanks for sharing, and just in time for Super Bowl Sunday. My friend is having a big party, I'll have to call her and give her the recipe. Thanks again.

A friend of mine gave me this recipe a few years back, and to say the least, it's one of our favorites!! My niece (who is 23) said I have to bring it to every holiday gathering!! This is so easy to make too, the hardest part is chopping up a tomato.. :-) Thanks for your reply!!

Thanks for the laugh! My first thought was nooooooooo....I'm not going to cook for your gang! Then I noticed that you're in Florida, and since I'm in SUB ZERO temps here in Michigan, tell the kids I will be on the next flight out!! (lol) Actually my style of cooking is easy, lazy and the least time consuming! I'm a single parent with very little time. I have another recipe I posted for crock pot roast beef/next day veggie soup, 2 meals in one. I think you'd like that too!! Check it out!! :-)

This sounds absolutely wonderful. (yummy) I'll bet adding about 1/2 cup of chopped lettuce would be good, also. Dipping large croutons...Off to the store I go! Thanks, again.

I have added chopped green onions to this and it gave it a different taste, but still very good!! Another friend here suggested chopped lettuce, and another friend suggested hot sauce too. The dip is very good with just the simple ingredients I have listed too. Maybe make it first and then you might be able to think of something you'd like to add. Thanks for your reply!! :)
