Eight Tracks

Do You remember eight track tapes?It seems like yesterday but it has been quite some time since they came out and then became obsolete.

I have never seen an Eight Track, not sure if it's an American thing? But on one of Brian Setzers cd's there's a track called "Eight Track" & I wondered what they were. Now I know :)

Here at least they came between albums and cassettes.They were the first portable way to listen to music that I know of.

YEAH, ol eight tracks, lol i didnt get much time w/ them but my mom had one in her car for a long time, even after cassetts were popular. they jus took up too much space i guess. and then everything jus kept getting more and more compact.

Yeah,Im glad We moved on to better mediums but it brings back memories.
