wetting your bed (pee), have you experienced it?

I didn't have the problem but my son did. I talked to a doctor about it. He said it was common, just not talked about that much. Some kids sleep so soundly they just don't wake up when they have to go. He said the kids eventually grow out of it. He also said it can be hereditary. I have known of other kids that have wet the bed into their teens.

Oh I can't believe I am going to write about this...but I have had this happen to me twice...I will be dreaming that I am urinating in the bathroom, and I am feeling relieved, and I will wake up in a hurry because I feel the urine starting to come out. It is embarassing, and my husband like's to tease me about it.

hi,its common problem in india almost with 90% children below 6 years age and 10% children even upto 12 years old.i too had a habit of pissing on bed till 4 years old.if there is any discussion on this subject ,my father was telling with us,that once he slapped me while pissing on bed,from that time onwards,i stopped that habit.

I have experienced it when I was a little girl. I don't remember ever doing it when I got to be an adult.

i hate when i have dreams like i'm in the toilet and i start to pee sometimes i catch myself in time, but a lot of times it's too late, have u had those?

I was a bed wetter until I was about 14 also. yes, it was very embarassing. I couldn't stay overnight at frineds houses and they couldn't stay at my house. I didn't want anyone to know. I was checked by a doctor and they couldn't find anything wrong. My son was also a bed wetter so I think it is sometimes heredity. He finally stopped around 14 too. They have new medications out for it now and other devices to help people with this problem.

i think you've got some health problems... that is not normal for your age at that time... thank goodness i never had that type of problem...

I have to admit that I have done it even after I was grown once. I had this dream that I went to the bathroom and I just started peeing for some reason. I was pregnant with my first child when this happened.

I did it once when I was a kid, what I remember then I'm just dreamin about having a pee at someone's restroom, and upon waking up, there you go, I'm fully wet and my sisters under my bed (it's a double deck type of bed) are wet too. Yes, it's embarrassing. Advice: Don't ever drink too much water before sleeping. ^^

it could be either your kidneys, bladder, or you sleep to heavy to feel the signals. that happened to me once. i was sound asleep dreaming about playing guitar on the toilet and woke up in a big warm puddle...
