What would you do if you came across a discussion in myLot or other, and it said I have some medical problem which needs $'s please reply or join up under my name so I can use these $'s to help with my operation. Would you reply, use that persons referral link or would you ignore the message believing its another of those scammers. Im also curious to know your thoughts on what if it was a person saying the same thing but for a washing machine cause they were having a hard time finding the money. I know Id prefer to vote/other for the washing machine person, cause at least they are being a little more honest, but you jsut dont know so I realy dont know if I would or wouldnt... What would you do?

As I get older I become more sceptical about these things. Maybe 20 years ago I would have done anything to help these people. But nowadays I am wary about them. I've seen people on here in MyLot asking for people to respond because they're trying to make money to help with an operation for someone or other. I just go to the next discussion. It's sad but nowadays it's difficult to trust anyone.

I've also seen a few MyLot discussion's asking for people to reply just for the money, it is wrong. Although I do enjoy getting a $ bonus, of which I havent as yet, I prefer to just browse and answer most discussions to help people, express my opinion or to make my point of view count. It'd be nice if alot of people did this, instead of leaving silly replys like "I dont know" or "I have no opinion", how lame is that, either you have an opinion or not.

I'm very leary of these things, here or anyplace on the internet. The best I can say is trust my instincts. If I get a funny feeling about it chances are there is something funny going on. There are so very very many scammers out there that we do need to be careful or we could loss everything we have and then some. Personally, I need money but no way in the world would I ask for it online.

I dont think I know many people who dont need money. I like you too wouldnt ask the world for it either, knowing my luck 60 minutes would turn up on my door step and try to embarrace me. Ive heard so many case's on shows like 60 minutes about these scammers that Im also very weiry and fortunately havent been put in a possition to say either yes or no. Its bad enough having to say no to tin collectors, but I always donate to the Returned Soldies, Salvo's (and alike), Diabeties and the Kidney Foundation, these ones I know are genuine.
