Ruralchook started a new discussion called I feel really down right now:o( in life.
For nearly two years Ive worked 6 days a week and my day off consists of running around after the kids or other family members. None of them say thanks of course or show appreciation just more demands for more needs of their own to be put first. I know I should say no to work and the family, but they arent going to pay my bills and of course family is family. By why is it that when you ask...

Ruralchook responded to a discussion called Husband is older than her father, what's your oppion? in love.

Of course its very disturbing. I certainly wouldnt approve and would do everything in my power to stop the relationship to start with. But if they continued and I saw they genuinely loved each other it would easse things maybe a little. But I certainly wouldnt disown my daughter for it, her partner might cop a hiding and be banned from the house though.

Ruralchook responded to a discussion called Do you think kids respect their parents these days, as we respected our parents in people.

If you want a real answer to this, all you need to do is stand at the front of my home and listen to my kids. Ah kids today think they have it so hard. And the government bodies dont help by taking our right to disipline our children easy either. At 10 I was chopping wood, mowing the lawn on weekends or after school, at 6 am I had to get up get my two brothers and little sister breakfast,...

Ruralchook responded to a discussion called Is mylot your only source for earning online?or you have other sources too? in mylot.com.
Im with a few other online sites where I can earn money for my opinion. I do it not only for the bonus but to voice my opionions. Some of the surveys Ive been asked are extremely good ones which are unusual but have a genuine need for answering and Im glad to give my opinion and be heard. But as a single mother I must say the extra cash or bonus's help. I save mine until later in the yea...

Ruralchook responded to a discussion called what would you do to feel appreciated? in friend.
Im in the same vote as you. My kids think Im a walking money tree. They expect me to work for money that they can spend, but I can only work when they are out doing what they want to do and the other times Im expected to be an old maid at home doing the cooking cleaning and stopping the fights. I work 6 days a week, have no help, come home at 10pm to find no dishes done, food and rubbish left ...

Ruralchook responded to a discussion called How do people manage to support a family on minimum wage? in earning money.
As a single mum in Australia with two teenagers, I cant afford to live on welfare benefits. I work 6 days a week to try and bump my income up to the so called National level of minimum wage. But the miniman wage system doesnt show how many kids need to be supported on that single income either. I struggle really really bad, sure Ive got the luxury of having the internet on, but my kids need ...

Unfortunately I live realy remote so there arent any sitters in town to hire. I agree with what you say about my family, I wont be saying anything any more. It really got to me when my mum rang to ask when I was visiting next, she though it was tonight not next month, she needs help and to borrow things of course. The thing is I never planned on visiting, I had planned to go to the same ...

Surprisingly I was a strict mum, but within reason of course. The kids have become teenagers and just expect things to be handed out. They understand my finances dont allow things but they'll try any ways. When it comes to chores, its now hard to enforce them, because I work evenings so arent home to make sure they are done. I wish they were babies again, it was so much easier.

I love my kids, I love being on the farm. I hate training puppy dogs, and I hate even more when my son gets the blame for everything, although most of the time he's not there.
