just a poll if you were offered 3.9 cents per minute with no extra fees or charges would you switch?

Nope, wouldn't even consider it. I pay a flat rate, $20/month, allowing me to talk for as long as I want to wherever I want without having to worry about how much I'm racking up, and making my monthly bill predictable. I always go with flat rates when I can, leaves less to try and calculate in your head come budgetting time.

i dont know what the adds up to but if you spent 20 dollars and 3.9cents a min that would give you over 1500 mins so if your not talking that many minutes your over paying

I know the math thanks. I use a lot of long distance, considering I'm 500 miles away from my closest family members. I spent much more than my flat rate costs me.

I would not not take it because I talk on the phone way to much and would be better doing my flat rate each month.
