 He hasn't called since Sunday? That's only 3 days. Being your ex, he doesn't HAVE to call you every day, or even every week if he doesn't want to.  In 1999 I bought a 386 with a 14.4 modem for $50. It barely ran, and pretty much the only thing I could pull up was bulletin board systems. But, it was enough to get me started. The best way to learn about a computer is to break just one ... lol.

No, I never do. I just assume it says pretty much the exact same thing that the one before it did. It would be nice, though, if they included an idiot-proof summary for those of us who don't want to read ten pages of gibberish, just to read it again ten minutes later on another program.

I'm using a licensed, bought operating system, but since I built my system, it obviously didn't come with it.
Hypothetically, if I was using pirated software for other things on my computer, like audio or video software, etc, (no admission whatsoever) I'd be hesitant to admit it anywhere online where I could be setting myself up for copyright or piracy charges later on. Hypothetically speak... |

Hiya. I figured I should use this space to give you some idea of the type of person I am.
I'm what people refer to as brutally honest. I see no point in dishonesty, it serves no purpose. So, I'm truthful at all times. However, the brutal part comes into play because I don't believe in softsoaping things, either. I say exactly what I'm thinking, and usually am unconcerned with the offense someone will inevitably take. If my opinion offends you, then I guess you need to ask yourself why.:) I don't set out to offend anyone, simply to offer my own opinion or experience. Often this comes across as being rude, but it's not meant that way. If I'm meaning to be rude, it's usually painfully obvious, lol. I just prefer to say what I'm thinking instead of beating around the bush.:)
I'm sarcastic, sometimes when I don't even mean to be, it's simply second nature, lol.
I consider myself an intelligent person. I make a point of using common sense and applying it to most situations, and if there's something I don't know about, I'll make a point of learning about it before I open my mouth ... erm ... or get my fingers typing. I'm well researched in many areas, and enjoy reading articles simply to expand upon what I don't yet know. I just enjoy learning:)
I'm a mom of 5 .. yes really .... with my kids ages ranging from 6-12. They keep me pretty busy during the day, but my nights are mine. For those who wonder how I'm on here so much with 5 kids, I work on the computer. I'm a website designer & graphic artist, so I often find myself on sites like this when I'm taking a break, or when the codes start to drive me a little insane.;)
As for why I'm on so much in the evening, my hubby works nights ... 'nuff said.;)
I have a tendency to ask questions that some consider controversial. I enjoy making people think, and making some bust the bubble they keep their opinions in. Again, the intention isn't to offend, simply to get peoples gears spinning. A person can only take so many "what's your favorite movie" questions before sinking into the mundane. So, I spice it up with questions that blur the line. I'll never quite understand why some choose to come in and cause trouble. If you don't like the question, ignore it and don't waste your time. However, if you have a valid opinion and want to discuss the subject, you're more than welcome and your input is definitely appreciated!
