Dating and Being Sick

We are all humans and we all want to be loved and be with someone. If you just found out you were diagnosed with a Terminal or Chronic Illness that should not stop you from dating or having a relationship. If you started dating and got serious about someone. When would you tell them you are ill ? On the flip side of the coin as the other person when would you like to know if the person you started seeing is ill ?

I would be right up front with anyone that I started dating. It will also show you if they have compassion and character if they continue to date you. It also shows you as an honest person. Good luck dear, and God bless you.

the easiest part of this to answer first is, if i were dating someone and found out they were ill i would keep seeing them. them being ill would not change my feelings about them and would only make me want to be there to offer them support. if i were ill i would tell people i was seeing and hope they would be able to cope with it. i always like to be upfront about things so they don't become an issue further down the track

Yes, by being honest and upfront at the beginning will set in stone the foundations for any relationship. For any relationship to work you have to be honest, if they don't accept what you have told them, that is their problem, NOT yours and you know that this person is not for you, it's their loss for not accepting you!
