Yes man ofcourse. Most of them do have lan cards to connect through their cable. I guess some have modems wireless setting but most probably everyone has it. Me too having it.

I used to have one for my cable modem. The LAN cards I bought were the cheaper ones, so it has ro be replaced quite often. I now use a USB cable modem, so LAN cards are no longer a problem.

yup of course..i think better to use lan card than the other way..its easy to setup..it almost like a plug and play hardware..

i have them in 2 pc's and in my laptop but only the 2 pc's are connectet to the net with it the laptop is somtime's connected with it

yes i have a lan card, because i have a DSL connection at internet, and that request lan card, no modem !

yes I do, all my pc has lan card, two of it has onboard lan card. but I'm not connecting to the internet from lan card, since I use a dialup from my phone cell, I have to dialup gprs and pdn. both of them doesn't use a lan card for connecting. but I use lan card for sharing the internet connection from my main computer (that connected directly to the internet) to my client computer, and also use lan card for make a sharing printer and the others data.
