ROnnie James Dio by Far. The guy was a legend even before Black Sabbath Needed a new singer. He has Pipes of gold and i cant weit to see him. Im going to the Heaven and hell show FRONT ROW!!

My favorite is Ronnie James Dio. I love the direction the music took during his time with them, and just the feel of Heaven and Hell, and Mob Rules. By the way, when did Rob Halford ever sing for Black Sabbath?

November 14th-20th, 1992 and August 26th 2004 The first time was because Sabbath (with Dio) had a couple shows supporting Ozzy. Ozzy wanted to sing on the last few songs on their set and Ronnie vehemently opposed saying that he didn't want the fans to think that Black Sabbath was reuniting with Ozzy. The band decided to go through with it and Ronnie refused to take the stage, leading Ozzy to recruiting Rob Halford to sing for those shows. The second time, Ozzy came down with bronchitis during Ozzfest and Halford was called to replace him again.

I never really had a favorite singer. The ones you listed all have their various styles that make each of them unique, although I never heard of Tony Martin.

i'm torn between ozzy and dio-i like both. i wasn't particularily fond of tony martin. but out of all,definetly ozzy.

I have to go with Ozzy Osbourne. I have many of his albums and have seen him in concert.

I'd have to go with Ozzy; before he started the whole reality show routine he was one of the most dedicated guys in the business. Sabbath has influenced a lot of groups and musical styles over the years but I am constantly amazed when people talk about music and neglect to mention them. Very interesting post!

Ozzy Osbourne is the all time best ever!!! He has the best voice and rocking skills! He is a bit crazy, but he is the all time BEST!!!
