Another Incentive to give QUALITY Responses!

So this is kind of a part 2 to "My Best day thus far!!!!!What did I do differenty?" So this topic was one of the discussions on the "Today's Top Discussions", "Recent Discussions", "Todays" Hot Topics" and "Discussions from my Interests" Because I wasn't home much yesterday and when I was I was busy responding to all of my responders from this discussion I only posted about 12 responses, so naturally wasn't expecting a very good day in pay. But I still made $1.10, .03 was from one of my referrals. So I thought why is this, everyone says that it flucuates from day to day and you can't figure out why. Well I think that you can. All of the responses that I gave yesterday were quite lengthly, so I started checking things and happened to check under "MY BEST RESPONSES" WOW, I was given yesterday alone, 4 BEST RESPONSES. This has to be a great incentive to give quality responses as it can boost your pay drastically. Figure it out, I gave 12 responses, made .03 cents from a referral and received 4 best responses for a total of $1.10 I think that is awesome. What do you think? Is it enough of an incentive for you?

yes we all need to give each other feedback and good advice..i am now just getting my feelers around the mylot palace..now after a few days here i can evaluate better and see where i can improve myself..where my weaknesses are lurking and what my strengths are..in observing others i can alsl learn alot and improve myself..i look at mylot as a platform where i can hopefully evolve as a better person and an even better contributor..i hope that i can improve and give my best...not only for the remuneration from mylot..but in a spiritual and humanitarian sense aswell..that is the greatest incentive for me..to improve as a human being and give my best..
thankyou for this post..and reminding me of how i can improve..

I thank you for your response. I appreciate all advise, and will definetly take it in to concideration in the future, but for now I will continue to respond to all posts. The reason is my upbringing, I just can't get over feeling that I'm being rude not thanking everyone for stopping in to comment on my discussions. With so many hundreds of discussions that people could have taken the time to respond too, they chose mine. I want everyone to know how much I appreciate that. I will still give the best response to whom ever I feel gave the best advise and stayed with the discussion. That is my 2 cents. Good luck to you here at mylot!

beanie, just a suggestion--mylot prefers that we don't reply to every single answer to our posts. You don't get any more credit, and eventually you will drive yourself nuts trying to keep up with it. Don't forget that some of the answers won't really contribute to the conversation because the posters are just trying to pile up the dough. I only have a couple of small conversations so far, and have decided that I'll reply to the good answers, and when I finally decide who has the best one and rate it, I will give a general thank you to all.

Well done. Lenghty discussions will give better earnings as long as they are related to the topic and make sense. Yours obviously were good, lenghthy answers. Apart from increasing your earnings "Best reponses" are also a bit of a boost to the ego, don´t you think?
Quality responses are well worth the bother, you´re right. One line answers don´t get us anywhere.

congratulation all earn 1 or 2 dollar and i earn only few cents!!! the beautiful thing is that i do always good topic but are too long and so nobody read tham and i dont take any answer, and if instead i write just few line a don't earn much. i don' know what i can do

Thank you for your responses. Maybe try no discussions for a few days and just post quality responses. Invite people to be your friends that write great discussions and people who post with quality responses. Then after a few days try another discussion and see what happens. Everyone has a groove it is just trying to find it that can be difficult. Good luck to you here at mylot!

My best day has been about 1.50, I have no referrals, and i have never looked at my best answers.
I guess I should check those things.
It does look like best responses pays off. I should go look at my old questions and award them,

We all try to give lenghty answers but, we are not as lucky as you are to get so many best responses. I have some best respomses to my credit, but, I feel that people who start the discussions are in too much hurry to award the best reponse on the first day itself. They dont wait for the others to give response to their queries

It is nice that you have the patience to figure things out and I am sure there are alot of people who appreciate your efforts.
I never push for referrals to anything that isn'[t on my website. I feel that my practicing doing responses and starting subjects for discussion is what I wish to focus on as I am trying to gain better writing skills.

Thanks very much for posting ur response ..it has given me a thought to think about my earnings....rather than just keep on increasing your count its really important that u keep posting quality responses which would help in increasing ur earnings rather than ur count....thanks buddy for ur valueable comment..

It makes perfect sense to me. And it's kind of proof that mylot does pay more for excellence. I find that very encouraging because I don't know very many people and will never be able to make any money from referrals. So, up til now, it's been an open question for me whether I can increase my earnings significantly without referrals.

Thank you for your response. I also don't have very many people to get referrals from, the 2 that I have are family. I know that there are ways that we can increase our earnings on our own here and I'm going through the process of trial and error. I will share all that I find out with my fellow mylotters/mylotians. Doesn't mean that everything will work for everyone, you still have to find your groove. Good luck to you here at mylot!

That is a very good incentive and I've been doing that today. It is so much more worth it to give valuable responses that mean something to the poster. You get what you give, right?

I'm new to the community so it certainly does help. I'm not very good with referrals yet, either, so I'm trying to earn via responding and posting. I'll keep that in mind, thanks very much for sharing. :)

I think you are just lucky, the best answer is very hard to get, and you got four in a day, you should busy some lottery to try your luck.
lenthy response dont always get the best answers. and its not easy to make a long answer, I would like to answer more thread with short one, as long as it can convey what I want say.

Thank you for your response. I don't know if I completely agree with you on that. As of yesterday morning I had received 12 best responses in total, and had been here for only a week. I truly think that if you do your best that you are rewarded for that effort. While I agree that the best response isn't based on the longest response, but on the quality and whether you stayed on topic and added anything useful to the discussion. Their a number of factors that go in to receiving this honor. Good luck to you here at mylot!

well yeah,marking best response does make a difference in the earnings,and 1.10 dollars are quite a lot and also i think your typing speed is good.So you can write lengthy answers in a little time but my typing speed is very very slow and i am improving and yeah the topic was really interesting and also thanks for reading my response.

Thank you for your response. I don't know if my typing speed is all that good, although I haven't tested it inyears the last time I took a typing test I was at about 35 words a minute. The more you type the better you get. :) Good luck to you here at mylot!
