Computer programming is a two year course. But if you want a job that will pay you best, try that medical transcription coz i think its the best choice in town. Not only that,it is also good for woman out there specially for those who are married coz while working at home, they can attend their husband and children

hi there, i know how do you feel about. sometimes school can make us sick but education is everything. i'm a final year student of computer. well, sometimes some problems of school really make me heady to explode (we are using our brain to handle the situation critically) but i always think i can't buy this kind of situation with any amount of money!!! one day after we get our degree we will feel the satisfaction of it. no such words could explain it. :) in the phrase you told us that you were the dean list. that's good. but based on my experiences you are not going to be very good in all stuff. please make sure you can cope and fit your self in the course that you are going to take at. to be very honest i do hope you won't get the wrong course for your self. it's about the impact of it. just like me, my self, i'm really good in engineering courses and i got the dean list and the best student for that but when i am in computer course i just be a dummy. i can't do anything for that. so, think wisely before you take the course. analyze your own self what you are enjoying, and good at.i can't name the courses cuz although you are smart enough but we are not going to be smart in all.good luck!!!

If I were a dean's lister I will not quit college, but then that's me. The course that will be best for you will depend on what you want to do for the rest of your life. If you think you can be a medical transcriptionist 30 years from now the do it, there are also some hotels in Manila that offers classes in Hotel Management it takes around 6 months to 2 years. Or you can enroll in Flight Attendant Classes it lasts up to 6 months. But first you really need to determine what you really want.

I understand how you feel, choosing a course in college is really a daunting task especially if you're under pressure from your family. I have to say that choosing the right one is a crucial part of one's future. Regardless of the nature of the course or the possible job it could give you, you should choose a course that will give you a job you'll love 10-20 years from now. I was once in your shoes, pressured by my family force to take a course i dont love...the end result? after graduating and having a job for three years i end up resigning from that job simply because i dont love it and not happy with it. Whatever your decision be sure that end result of it will be in your favor. Be sure that you'll be happy and content with it. Best of Luck.

suggestion is good but you decide it in your own...medical transcription is one of a good 2 years course nowadays but nursing also plays a major role in all the universities anywhere in the philippines because of high demand of this course to our neighboring countries...some doctors studied nursing so they can go abroad.

Well, I am not sure about courses like that. I am into medical fields stuff and I would go for anything like that. Maybe you can look at nursing and see if it is something you'd be interesting in.

First of all, it is amazing that you are able to make it to dean's list. It goes to show you have the aptitude to go through with an academic course. Second of all, are you considering taking up a course cos you want to? Or cos your family members are pressuring you to? In the former, you will most likely be able to succeed in completing the course, cos you want to go through with it. You can picture yourself graduating from the course. But if it is the latter, then you may want to reconsider. No point going through the course if you are not interested. On the other hand, at 19 and no qualifications, you are going to be heading the way of hard-knocks if you do not intend to pursue your interests academically. I know, cos I have witness many people around me who, at 19, thinks nothing in the world can pull them down. Try thinking at 30... things are totally different. Then think again at 50 and it is another story again. Look at the people around you at those ages mentioned to get what I mean. Then picture yourself at that age doing what they are doing. Then after all that, make a choice to further your studies or not.

My best advice is not to get into anything you're not interested in. Sit yourself down and try to think about what you would like to be doing five years from now. Medical Transcription is a good job. I'm a transcriptionist. But it does grow old fast too. If it weren't for the money I'd quit. If you don't like to deal with pressure transcription is not for you because you have deadlines. Do you like to cook? Why not take a Chef's course? Or maybe something artistic.

I think the best course what will you take is depend on you and your parents. Is the job that you want really related particular course? What is kind of job you want? Do you like to design something, arts, or science, communicate with people, and family what they want from you? Maybe you can have any idea what is your carrier you will pursue... Hmmm... maybe medical transcription is ok, i think you can do it. Its also high paid job if you;re really professional in it... Gud luck!
