Sleep Talking

Does anyone out there talk in their sleep? IF so, is it the extreme sleep talking that leaves you feeling sleepless after a full night of jabbering away? How do you deal with this? I've recently developed a sleep talking habit during some rather stressful times, and i'm not just mumbling. I'm spending entire nights dictating sales pitches and other bizarre things. I'm trying relaxation meditations now, and so far it seems to at least lessen it down to a minimum, but I want my nights back. I also do not want to take drugs.

I talk in my sleep sometimes too..but not usually all night long. My brother will sometimes sout in his sleep. He once said "No not the cheese!" in his sleep..and Dad used to whimper about a girl attacking in his sleep..it's weird, funny, and kinda cool. The worst thing that happened to me for talking a bunch in my sleep has been having a dry scratchy throat the next morning.

I don't see that talking in your sleep is too much of a problem. Relaxation seemslike a good way to deal with it, as it seems to be related to stress. One of my daughters talks in her sleep when she is stressed too, I'm not worried about it. I just put on relaxation cd's for her when she goes to bed to try and help her stay calm.
