I have always wanted to live in Baguio because of the weather and the laid back atmosphere there. My husband and i plan to move there by year 2008 just when school is about to start. What do you think? Are there affordable houses there? If tyou have any information, would really appreciate it. Thanks!

Hi friend! I just wonder.. If you'll relocate to Baguio what are your plans? Do you have work or business there? We go to Baguio every year mainly because its near where we live ( Angeles ). We enjoy the cool weather especially Camp John Hay. But once we get to the city, the traffic is comparable to manila.. What do you think?

I am lucky to have such a supportive husband, he is now starting to ask around about employment possibilities in Baguio and has sent feelers to his existing company that he is keen on being transferred to the Pine City. My kids are all preschoolers so finding a good school there would not pose a problem. I amthinking of setting up a party store there if things look good for us there as well. I am pretty excited with the plans and i do hope things turn work out as planned.

Yeah, like the weather there, and really it's for my kids health and good well-being why we are eyeing for a baguio refuge. Thanks!

I have lived in Baguio for almost 21 years. Me and my hubby also do have plans of settling in Baguio after a couple of year (no set date yet though). It's nice to stay in Baguio coz you'll definitely love the cool breeze, the fresh (and super cheap) vegetables, the scent of pine trees, the beautiful flowers that can easily grow in your garden, the warm and friendly people.. and a lot more! The prices of house and lots in Baguio depends on its location. Usually house and lots are cheaper if it's not near the city. To give you an estimate, a lot along BGH(Baguio General Hospital which is almost near the city) 4 years ago cost aroung 60k per square meter. Just dont know how much they cost now..

Wow, good for you. I think there are a lot of affordable houses in Baguio. Try to read newspapers or browse the internet if there are houses for sale or for rent. I love Baguio, it's like Manila with a cold atmosphere. All the prices of goods are cheaper.

Thanks, will do that. actually we were planning on moving up there this year, but decided to give us more time to settle there which is why we moved our target date to early next year. I hope we get a good deal there. thanks again!
