I've been using Joomla for over a year now. And I'm agree with the people who say it's one of the best CMS if not the best. Do you have techniques in Joomla? or do you have problems in implementing it? Please feel free to discuss it with us...

I have not yet built a site with Joomla but am thinking of converting my static websites to Joomla. Incidentally, I have for a week now started porting some of my sites to Wordpress. Do you know of any active Joomla groups in the Philippines? I would love to learn Joomla and would be open to any consultancy arrangement within the Philippines to help me upgrade / convert around two corporate sites to Joomla.

Well, it's a CMS you know... ;0) But if you've tinkered with it for a month or two, you'll see how much time you can save from hand-coding...

i've tried joomla, joomla is good but i need more time to learn about it, its directory structure, plugins etc. and i've tried some CMS Software also like mambo, drupal, nucleus. i prefer to build my own CMS so i can recognize everything cause i build them my self from zero.. i designed the structure of file, database, coding logic and everything myself. the best advantage i got is i can recognize and response the error much faster cause i recognize and i have my own documentation with every pieces of The code

I have tried joomla and alot of other CMS, i tried joomla once and i couldn't find any modules or blocks or addons i needed also couldn't find any good templates so i installed phpnuke again because it had alot of plugins and alot of themes, it has over 1000 plugins and a lot of themes, you can download phpnuke from www.phpnuke.org they have a few plugins but if you want a collection over 1000 plugins for phpnuke then go on www.phpnuke-downloads.com they have the largest phpnuke plugins to download!. I have an website of my own www.cellphonejunky.co.uk i am using Phpnuke for my CMS and it is working really well.
