DO you know about DOS Operating system?

Dos Operating system is frist then we started to know the windows 9X,nt ,XP and at last WINDOWS vista but do you know or remember any thing from the DOS system ??????????? I reall do know some orders

Yes I still remembers those commands since I learn my first computer knowledges by Dos versions. During that times dos was very important and most of the features were working on commands.

I started with DOS v6. The DOS commands still came handy specially when I was still working as a Network Administrator. I even use these commands until now using WinXP SP2.

Yeah its still very useful which I already get use to it whenever I need to works on windows OS as am still a part time freelance computer services provider:)

Despite the claim by Microsoft that DOS is virtually extinct, there is still some use for it at times. Even in the latest systems you can still run DOS commands via the Command prompt window, which is easily opened by typing cmd into the Run dialogue.

Yes, i used Dos operating system, many commands are helpful to use hardware configuration. So, Dos is used nowadays.

Hi there...I begain learning computers using the very first version of DOS and remember how painfully irritating it was to navigate through the text menus.

Surely I remember the commands and also used them in XP. Infact I loved the facility to make a .bat file which contained the list of commands and it would execute one after the other. Now I heard that VISTA is not going to have the command prompt. How SAD.
