There is nothing wrong with you .. as a wife, a mother and a woman!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I hate getting that answer too!!! And hate it even more when after saying that, I make something and he goes" huh.. it wasn't really this that I felt like having.. " Grrrrrrrrrrrr The same thing with the kids... I love to cook and don't mind making something even a bit more elaborate if they ask me, but after over 20 years I am tired of being the only person responsible for planning all the meals. Of course for them is hard too, they usually have no idea of what they want.Food.. whatever it is :) I tried the note too, asking them to help me planning some meals and got very few responses. So I changed the idea a little bit and tried again. Instead of asking them to write what they want for dinner,I have a small bag in the kitchen table with a variety of meals written in small papers. The first person to enter the kitchen has to take one paper and put it in the refrigerator door. That will be the meal for the night. This worked both ways too, because sometimes they don't like the meal they took out of the bag and unless they give me another idea that is what they will get:) Of course there are days where I have my own plans for a meal but this works nicely when i don't.

usually i dont ask because i know his taste but sometimes it depends on his mood and what he want to eat on a specific day.
