If you had to choose, would you rather be known for your beauty or brains?

Neither. I would like to be know for my loving kindness. Looks can go and disease and age can take the brain power. Loving kindness is always remembered and leaves the world a better place.

I would go for brains as they only improve over time that too with a little education.I feel that people who consider you another pretty face tend to not value you as a personas much as people who admire you for your intelligence. But i should point it out that brains are not a free ride to wealth.They do increase the odds of winning but they don't guarantee anything...in fact they often get in the way of doubts raising questions ....there are limits to how much beauty u can buy for yourself.wealth does attract beautiful people but it also attracts flatterers, un faithful people .I believe that high intelligence does not makes you a sane person nor it makes you athletic,courageous,gentle ,a good parent ,a good friend.... People say that they admire intelligence over beauty ,but they really don't .people don't trust what they understand,although there are some exceptions. To be beautiful on other hand is to able to charm people around you this help people to get their goals quite easily.an intelligent person has to strategies a plan to achieve certain goals. So beauty and brains can be celebrated as gifts.Being at the ease of your own skin being generous and able to face courageously every days of your life is more important ..To be happy with whatever you have either beauty or brains both has its pros and cons

I almost hesitate to respond as the topic itself makes me feel like a little old lady! The Old Lady vote goes to brains-a smart woman can have a man so captivated that he has no idea what she looks like. "i'm just saying............."

I think when you are brainy , you can make yourself beautiful.
