I tried something new! I was studying, and wanted some coffee to keep me alert, and added pumpkin pie spice and vanilla to the pot! Then I added splenda to the cup. Wow, what a combination. It was great! Have you tried any "different" ways to change the way your coffee tastes? Thanks, in advance.

So do you add spices to the grounds before brewing or to the pot after it is done?

I added the vanilla and spice right to the pot-before the water came through.

I'm not a big coffee drinker, but that sounds very interesting. I love pumpkin pie, but I never would have though to try it in coffee. I'll have to try that soon. I usually drink coke to get my caffeine fix, but a little coffee once is awhile is always good.

With the way the weather in Ohio is lately, I can drink coffee all day long!

We add cinnamon to our grounds before brewing. It gives it a good flavor. I've tried the pumpkin pie spice once when I ran out of cinnamon. I prefer it with cinnamon, though.

that sounds scrumptious. I haven't ever been brave enough to tamper with my morning coffee. Maybe I'll give it a try.

Add only a little at a time, so it isn't stronger that you like it.

Use eggnog instead of milk or cream. Awesome!

I've never tried that combination. . . sounds yummy. In my coffee, i sweeten it with sugar, add a little bit of cream and then 1/2 tsp of vanilla extract.

Too bad I'm not a big fan of coffee here. But I wouldn't mind share the pumpkin pie. :) Oh, I do drink coffee, but only Thai Ice Coffee. It's brilliant. If you haven't try it yet, you should try this coffee. They put palm sugar instead of normal sugar to add the sweetness. It so refreshing. Usually you could find this coffee in Thai restaurant.
