my star in my name has number 8 now... i'm wondering how they are rating me.

Any idea of how they are doing this rate? Coz a few mins im only 7 but now i'm 8. Are you giving rates to people who respond to you? well i hope we will this is way of thanking them.

i dont have any idea and i just dont rate people .waht do is geneuinely respond topeoples discussions.the best possible manner i can

Maybe the number on the star represent some kind of grading. I don't know. I have to check it out sooner or later. Yes, I ussually rate positive as a sign to show my thank to those who respond to my entries.

I rate every topic or discussion I am involved in. If it is your discussion, I will rate it. If you reply to my discussions, I will also rate it. I don't think many people are taking time to rate one another. I think maybe some people do not think it is important to do so. Some may not know they need to do it also. Congratulations on your 8. Keep up the good work.

i thick its to do with the (+,-) at the side,if poeple like your discussion or responcse then they mark you + and the number in the star goes up and ive the didnt like it,they will mark you a - and the number in your star goes down.
