Do you get the girl scout cookies where you live? What are your favorites? Mine are the lemon and peanut butter, but they keep getting higher and higher in price!

The good thing about these cookies is they only come around once a year. There was a time when I would buy several packages and freeze them. Now the high prices keep me from buying as much. But, I still have to buy at least 2 packages of my favorite Thin Mints.

Mmm girl scout cookies!! I suppose thin mints are my favorites. I usually buy some if I can find a girl scout to get them from. I like several other kinds as well, though. I really probably shouldn't buy them at all. I'm not very good at eating them in moderation. I've been known to eat an entire box of cookies in a day or two. *blushes*

Haha I feel better now! What's taking me so long is this evil voice in the back of my head (it sounds strangely like my grandmother) saying "You're going to weigh a thousand pounds if you don't stop with those cookies!!". So of course I have to put the box down and go smack myself in the head with something to make it go away. (Okay I don't literally smack myself in the head. But you get the idea.)

My favorite are the carmel and coconut ones. They are soo good, usually I eat the whole box in one sitting. And personally I don't think that they price is too high, I think that I might give my left arm for them, they are that good!!!

I think girl scout cookies are the best.....My favorite is the chocalate mint cookies....I can eat a whole box of them by myself but since I don't work anymore there aren't too many kids in the area that sell them so when I see them at the store I alway get two boxes....

I have noticed that too. The price keeps raising! I used to get Girl Scout cookies all the time. But now that I am having to watch what I eat to keep my blood sugar under control, I don't think I will be able to buy any. But my favorites were the Lemon and Peanutbutter also. :D My partner's favorite is the Thin Mints.

Didn't the girlscouts make their own cookies way back when? I have ordered the thin mints. Those are my favorite. I think I ordered the shortbread ones too. They have increased in price and still people will buy a bunch and put them into their freezers so they have them for awhile. Don't think I will ever do that. I think you can go online or just call a 1-800 number to get girlscout cookies if you don't have a girlscout in your area.

Oh man, is it that time of year again? sadly, we have no Girl Scouts in my area, and I must go cookie-less. Which is probably best, since I can't really afford to splurge on expensive cookies anyway. And I can get the cheap knock offs at the dollar store if I really get a craving!

Yes, I do purchase Girl Guide cookies when they are available. This may sound boring to some, but the vanilla are my absolute favourite. Cheers!

I was just thinking about this the other day as my husband and I just moved here at the end of last year and I have no idea if or when they do girl scout cookies here. I have really been craving them and would love to get my hands on some peanut butter or mint girlscout cookies. I know that they are getting real expensive but they are still worth it to me.

Yummy, girl scout cookies. I have always loved the thin mint ones the best. I haven't really seen the girl scouts selling cookies now that I think about it. Do they have a website to order cookies?

SAMOAS! And Tag-a-longs are my favorites! I love Thin Mints right out of the freezer! yeah, they are good, but they are expensive, and aside form Thin Mints, you don't get many in the box. I need to look at the ingredients and see if they have any Trans Fat in them, or if they have tried to make them healthier. but at least giving your money to these cookies (as opposed to buying in the grocery store) you ARE supporting an organization that helps girls build life skills and self esteem!
