It's a trade off!

Don't you love when you work things to such an impasse with your significant other that all you can do in the end is trade of bits and pieces of whatever issue you were arguing. Have you ever noted in these "trade off's" that the person who is the second to trade normally doesn't complete their end of the bargain. Then they'll refer to some other trade off that you may have welshed on years ago and then they say, "Oh it's a trade of!" is it fair to bring in the terms and conditions of old trade offs into the new contract after the fact? I think not!
