Fellas, we get yelled at for missing the target, would a wall urinal at home be a good idea? Ladies are welcome to comment too.

Sorry Fellas! I just have to say that if there were a wall urinal at home it would only be more work for whoever cleans the bathroom! I know a LOT of women who clean the bathrooms! Now, I am fair...I know men who clean the bathroom too! LOL!!!

True, but you don't see any advantages with having one for the fellas? LOL Thanks for your reply.

LOL alright howard..where on earth do you come up with some of these questions? lol Me thinks you have wayy too much time on your hands. lol Anyways, I don't need a wall urinal at home cause all the guys that do come here, know if they miss, they clean..end of discussion! I have carpeted bathrooms so the guys make darn sure they don't miss. lol

OK here is my take on this one. The story I get in this house is; It's not a continual steady stream measuring the same distance from beginning to end, therefore leaning into it or out of it or whatever is necessary. Depending on the urgency involved can also play a part in the intial beginning process. So in support of the Men yes I believe that there are times when things don't line up properly. HOWEVER; If this be the case then take the 1 extra moment to clean up after yourself that's all. Real simple. Age old problem solved. I can pretty much guarantee that if for whatever reason I missed - I would be cleaning it up in a heart beat!. So- Wall urninal does not seem to be the problem I think having a short hidden Mop that is camoflauged like the toilet brush things in the stands might be better suited, a very short handled Mop that is sitting in a disinfectant that you could swab around the area with might be better put to use? I believe this only applies to a smaller percentage of men than the world lets on. There is a cute saying "Please stand a bit closer - it's shorter than you think" LOL or.... "We aim to please....Please Aim"

I am just getting this feeling that if the clean up device looks anything like a mop there might be better aiming results. Mops, whether full size or mini are well know enemies to the male species. LOL

OK how about a room that is tile from top to bottom with a center drain and a sprinkler system that takes care of any problem after each male exits?

There you go, what an excellent idea and the toilet bowel will not have a seat at all. Hahahahahhaha

The problem is, I've seen men miss urinals too. I used to clean bathrooms at a convention center. The area around the urinals, including walls, would all be marked. Sometimes I had the feeling the men danced while using them since there would be some above the urinals. I think if men want to hit the target they will and those that don't want to, no matter what type of target it is, they will miss.

Hmmm. I suppose if it were easier to hit and the fellas would work hard to hit it then it would be a good idea. From reading the posts above mine it appears that sometimes men even miss the urinal. How on EARTH do you guys miss a target that big?

You know what-I've given up getting upset about this..it just doesn't help his aim!!! I am afraid that adding a urinal would only give the lady of the house(moi) more to clean.....hmmm....it probably would not happen in my house!!!

You are quite convincing!! That is a pretty good illustration!! I would be happy if he would clean up his mess or at least put the seat down when he is done!!!

Sometimes though it's not his fault. Did you ever tear open one of those little Chinese take out - duck sauce or soy sauce, then you aim it over your food, squeeze and it makes a detour and squirts everywhere else but on the fried rice, well you see it's kind of the same thing. (smile)

Personally, I have wondered how many people have done this that own homes? I know in an apt. or condo there is not the room, but I know there are times it would be appropriate for sure.

I have asked my husband the question about why men can't seem to take aim and hit a target that is so big. Is it a practice that they grow out of? I told him that if he had a problem with this, he should sit down. Of course you would have to make sure that the hose didn't start spraying irratically, you need to hold it down.

Yes I see your point but the bad thing about that is when you hold it down to go you still have to get the remainder of liquid out of the hose and the only way to do that is the shake it out and it's hard to do that in a sitting position. Very similiar to the garden hose outside, after you shut off the water the only way to clear that green hose of all the water inside is to shake it around the yard to completly empty it of it's contents. I personally think men make less of a mess using a urinal. Pardon me, I have to go now, I really need to use the mens room. LOL

i dont think a urinal would be a good idea..a toilet big enough i think but i have heard people put a ping pong ball in the toilet so the guys (or kids learning) have something to aim for in the toilet hehehe though it would be nice if more males cleaned up after themselves if they did miss.....

I don't know if a toilet big enough is such a good idea, there might be a lot of drowning accidents if the seat is left up. A basket ball might be a better target to practice but for some strange reason I have a feeing we will miss that too - and finally yes, the guys should clean up their own mess. So start cleaning fellas!

I think the best way to solve this problem is to make the guy who missed the target to clean the bath room,or train them to shoot AT the CENTER of the target.lol...

No, as a woman who cleans 3 bathrooms, my recommendation would be to have a hose type device that protrudes directly from the plumbing stack in the wall, such that the male appendage is inserted directly into said hose. Of course it would have to be pliable to accommodate men of different heights, and have a diameter of such proportions as to accommodate different degrees of thickness. With such a device missing would be highly unlikely.

I don't think we had this problem when outhouses were the plumbing of choice, lol.

Not a bad idea but like you say, very unlikely. I am sure when he's done and steps away from the device there will still be a few final last drops that will fall down to the floor. LOL

I think the only solution to this age old problem is that men get to have their own bathrooms, that way they can pee where they want, they can leave the toilet seat up and they can leave towels everywhere - perfect because no woman would ever want to go near it!!! the womans bathroom would ofcourse be under lock and key so that they couldn't slip one in there!!

Oh no, our own bathroom, if guys had their own bathroom I think we'd forget the urinal and use a bigger target like the tub! Now that's a nice size urinal! LOL

men do not care where the pee lands, i would not use a urinal if you gave it to me now if you installed a floor mount with a bowl like rim i would not need my other toilet.
