What is mylot trying to do?

making us post and post topics aything under the sun. and tagging each discussions. what is mylot trying to o? building a database of what? seriously, what they are trying to get is more more than what they are paying us.

What would be the point if they didn't get more than what they're paying us? I can't imagine taking care of a site like this for fun! They pay for hosting fees, domain fees, scripting, design, marketing and a lot more... and all we do is chat.
I suspect all they're trying to do is make some money.

Some of us aren't just here for the money, and if you are then tagging and the extras help make the discussions easier to refer to on mylot and search engines, which helps them get financial support which they share with you. So enjoy it, don't abuse it or you'll loose it.
