i think 500 ml at a time...it will not cause any harm....u can be some week for some time...better take some heavey food before giving blood

You could die! Follow the instructions at the blood bank to the letter. generally it is 2-4 pints no more than every two to three days.

I don't think there would be any side effect in donating blood as long as you are donating with the proper interval. The interval should be every 3 months extracting 450 - 500 ml for men and 250 ml for women for women are discharging blood every month.
