Do you buy highend labels, or do you look for knock offs?

I love the store H&M because they imitate the looks of a lot of my favorite runway designers for a fraction of the price. Another favorite is Forever 21. I don't buy anything that is an outright fake- ie those bags that say that they are Coach, Prada, or Louis Vuitton, but actually are sold on a street corner for $20. But I do enjoy interpretations of higher end designs in lower price ranges. Do you try to make your own designer looks? Or do you buy conterfeit items and try to pass them off as being more expensive versions?

I love H&M! I can't see buying a higher priced product when there are many great buys at lower priced stores -- especially for "trendy" items that won't be in style next season. I got a great winter jacket at H&M this year for $50 -- it looks just as nice (and is just as warm) as the higher end version, and I saved about $100!

I bought a great jacket at H&M this year too! I think it was like $30. So much cheaper (and a lot cooler) than anywhere else.

Neither. I don't buy high end labels, and I don't buy things that look like them either generally. I just buy whatever I feel like the best product is. And I rarely feel like something designer is the best.

Right on dude. I love designers, but mostly I love their visions. I would never dress off the runway, but it's nice to be inspired.
