Why not both? Is it going to be more than one layer? That way, you'd have some for people who like white, and some for people who like chocolate. Are you doing a groom's cake? Maybe HIS could be chocolate and then the actual wedding cake could be white. Really, it's whatever YOU like! :)

I agree, why not a double layer cake of white and chocolate. Or you could just make a marbled cake, that would go down real well. Or make for a one tiered cake, make the two cakes and place them together so you have two cakes in the one.

What flavor you like best, I think that is up to you. You need to choose the flavor you like the best or use both. Being the bride and making your own cake is not easy. Maybe you should get some help so you can paper yur delf before the weadding. Congradulation and Good Luck!

oh one more thing anothe rtip for you. to cover you cakes if you thinking on covering them with butter cream, use the ice tip and # 16 bag from wilton, it would help you to put the right amount of frosting and have you cake crumb free in less time.

You can make one tier white the other chocolate, or go for marble cake. Both in one

My vote would be for white...as white is the traditional dress color, I think the white cake would be better. And also, the icing decorations are usually pastel and they look nicer with the white cake when it is cut.

I would make what you and your fiance prefer as it's your wedding and you should make what you like on your special day.
