Ribena in cooking/baking?

I adore ribena. Very much so. I was considering the other day how the syrup could be used in desserts, and was wondering if anyone had ever tried it in any dessert recipes/with any desserts and if so, what they did with it and how did it work?

okay, so I haven't tried it in any recipes, because it's not available here! I'm so envious of the people who can get it, although I have to admit the first time I had it, I was looking at my friends rather strangely - it's syrup, for heaven's sake. At any rate, I think it could be used in any recipe that calls for maple syrup. Or I can see some kind of square, like a plain one, with the ribena swirled through. Or pound cake, with it swirled through the batter, but some of the sugar taken out of the recipe.
