How many people actually eat breakfast?

We all know how important it is for us to eat breakfast. It is the start of our day, right. I have been told to eat breakfast like a king, lunch like a prince and dinner like a pauper. However, no matter what I am told or what I read, I hardly eat breakfast. I just dont really feel like eating breakfast when I wake up. One of mt friends and I were discussing this and I am posting it to see how many people actually eat breakfast.

I try and eat a little breakfast everyday. It is usually not a real big breakfast just something light to carry me through until I can eat a big lunch or dinner. My favorite things for breafast are oatmeal or a muffin with a sausage patti in it and egg. I will sometimes just settle for toast with butter and jelly.

Yes I agree that eating breakfast is very important, but I don't eat in the morning either.

Breakfast is neccesary for evrey one. Eventhough dinner is not neccesary You have to take breakfast.

I don't like eating breakfast. In the morning, food is the furthest thing from my mind. I know all the literature says that we should always eat it, but I really can't motivate myself to do it. I get as far as drinking a glass of water, but that's it. I tend to eat my first meal of the day at about 2pm.

I used to collapse almopst daily on the way to work and have found if i eat breakfast i am fine. i think it is such an important thing and shouldnt be missed because there is no way you would go like 12 hours during the day not eating (normally) so why do it in the morning

I always have something..for breakfast..even if it is a bowl of cereal. You need to eat something in the morning because it gets you going and gives you the nutrients for your day...so I would tell you to have a little something if you can...it is important.

I use to eat it all the time when I was younger But im never hungry anymore in the morning so I dont eat. I have tried with no luck.

I normally eat breakfast, although not as soon as I get up. I have to be up for an hour or so before I actually get hungry, and it's very seldom that it's a big breakfast. I don't have room for a three course meal in the morning,lol, but I do eat something and I always ensure my children have breakfast before they go to school.

I'm trying to force myself to have at least some cereal in the mornings but it's not easy. I hardly ever feel like eating much when I awake, unless it's the weekend when I have more time on my hands.

well to say frankly i eat breakfast regularly..........i cannot withstand till lunch without having a breakfast....and i feel tht u should have ur breakfast regularly coz we get almost 8-10 hrs gap of sleep after having the last night dinner so our body requires somewhat recharge to start our day's work

I know breakfast is important, but I just don't feel like food until late morning. I never have even as a child. And when I do eat it just makes me hungrier the rest of the day. Sometimes I try to get a fresh smoothie in that I make from real fruit, but otherwise I listen to my body and skip breakfast.

Mee too i don't feel like eating early in the morning..which is bad according to doctors. But from 2-3 days i'm trying to have breakfast early. I also hav heard that if you eat enough non-oily food..you will remain healthy and fat free..YOu shoul eat at the fixed time daily.

if i am going out to get a burger, i skip breakfast and i just get an apple and a banana. i hardly eat breakfast but i do sometimes at home. i usually eat breakfast mostly on sundays.

Breakfast is the most important meal of the day. It is when your body needs ti the most to start of the day with good energy and nutrition.

I always eat breakfst. Even if it's only a bagel and coffee, I have to have something to eat in the morning or I'll get sick. I skipped breakfast once when I was running late for an estate sale and while I was picking through things in the attic of the old house, I actually blacked out for a few seconds. I sat down on the floor and rested by head agaist a beam. Fortunately, everybody was so intent on finding things that no one noticed. Ever since thenI've known not to ever, ever skip breakfast.
